To Senators, Legislators, Farmers and Editors of Vermont

During the recent holiday visits and emails my son, Stephen, asked me why Vermont did not just go one hundred percent ORGANIC, considering the amount of ORGANIC Vermont products he saw in the better stores of Alexandria, Virginia, where he lives. It is a great idea! Well, it is except for seed salesmen who have hooked up with international agricultural products firms. No personal offenses are meant.

If ORGANIC, Vermont farmers would be growing food that they know in their hearts is as good for their neighbors and themselves as can be had. If ORGANIC, the people of the United States, North America and the world would know that if what they eat is from
Vermont, no better can be had.

The market exists! It is bigger than New England. The ORGANIC farmers are like you, if you are not one, who work hard, have families, pay taxes and are raising children, living from the land. They are getting a good price for their products because
people prize good food.
Talk to them. Join them organically.

Vermont is equated with goodness. Keep it that way! Sell it! Let it bring money into Vermont.
Sell the assurance of and define the highest standards for food quality.
Charge for it!

Unite to do so.

Vermonters are arguing about how to be both ORGANIC and non-organic. Since both will always be and it could be litigated whether Vermont can have both, why not go for the product of highest quality and value?
Organic! Organic! Organic!
It's the BEST ! SELL THE BEST !
Don't settle for less than the best to opportunists in real estate.

Stake the State's Reputation on being Purest

Being best in food will take care of us in good and bad times.
