Back to Home On to see the Siding
go on
After a pause of a month
or so between foundation and framing (due to rains; the most we’ve recorded in
the 8 years of keeping records at our home), the contractor got down to the
business of putting the building together.
The structure you see here
is from a building kit by MiracleTruss®.
This building system gives us the flexibility of an open and clear floor for
filling in our space with whatever we could imagine. It’s a hybrid of steel for strength and wood
framing for more customizing flexibility.

A sure recipe for an
extreme weather year is to start a building project. Only days after the above picture was taken,
we got the first real snow in years and the most we have seen at our elevation
in this area ever.

With a roof on, the Barn construction could
continue in wet weather
