Welcome to my website!

I am Dawn Huffaker, a poet, who is starting on a journey to have her work enjoyed by the public. I’ve written poetry for twenty-five years that I’ve given to family and friends. Now, I’d like to share my creations with you.

Poetry is a wonderful way to capture the beauty of the moment! In a few, well-chosen words, the moment becomes an ever-lasting memory that can be visited again and again. Most are happy. Some are sad.

My first book is Flights of Fancy: Volume 1. It is a selection of over ninety poems about nature and life. They were written at different stages in my life. The themes are easy to relate to, though.

I have two editions of this volume. The first has a color interior and is $30. The second has a black & white interior and is $11.95.
