In Honor of the Memory of John Shoay

Huge  thanks   and   gratitude  to  George  Anisowicz   for   his
generous  donation of  $2000.  to  Kind Heart Shar-Pei Rescue
to  honor the memory  of  his uncle John Shoay.  George made
this donation because of the influence of his uncle who taught
him the meaning of respect and generosity.

It is with a sad heart that KHSPR will be closing its doors in the next few months.
We  can  not  find  anyone  who  will  take  over  the  duties  of  helping  Shar-Pei.
Approximately 100 Shar-Pei have been saved in 71/2 years.  We  are proud of that
accomplishment.  We  would  like to  give  special thanks  to all of you  that  have
helped Kindheart Shar-Pei Rescue through the years.

We will be providing links to other rescue groups that may be able to help  in the future.

SEEING THE SAME DOGS ON OUR WEBSITE

Kind  Heart  Shar-Pei  Rescue  takes   extreme
measures to place these  incredibly wonderful
dogs with the right people. It takes time.

We  know our standards are high for adoption
but we don't  want to  place  these dogs in  the
wrong  home especially  since they have  been
through so much trauma already.

which means "little girl found" in Chinese."Mi Shou"
is a   young  female  Shar-Pei.   She  is  a  very sweet
dog  who   has  been   abused.  She  is  shy   but  will
warm  up  to you  even  though  she  has suffered  this
abuse.  She should probably  be the only dog.

"Mi Shou"  is beginning to come out of her shell.   She
will make some lucky person a wonderful new friend!

Please  know  that you must  have the time to  commit to  loving these animals.  They  require attention.  They
will  need to have a home  with a fenced yard and home visits are necessary to insure  the well being of  the dog.
Remember, many of these dogs  have had a rough start in life and the responsibility to give them  the life  they
deserve should not be taken lightly.

If you  are interested in adopting one of these  wonderful  dogs  and  feel  that  you can give it  the loving  care
         they require
-the process starts by calling KHSPR at (505)286-4577

                                                                                  heart Foster Homes needed

There are many wonderful dogs that never get the chance to be rescued before they are put down due to lack of
foster homes.   A foster home can temporarily house these animals until a more permanent home can be found.
There is  large need for foster families.  Many of these dogs are frightened and have been abused; they just need
some love to come out of their shell and gain their wonderful personalities back and get that second chance.

Won't you consider fostering?   Call  KHSPR at  (505)286-4577  if you can help with this vital process that is so
crucial to saving some of these animals that will otherwise not have that chance.
