SR 92 will widen to 4 lanes from Carr Canyon past Hunter Canyon during Mar-May 2008, With a Traffic
Light at Hereford Road and 2 retention ponds on the eastside of SR 92. A small one South of Miller Creek
and a larger one North of Miller Creek for Clark's Spring Creek flow.
While this is not the best time being Spring Migration, it will mean a more safe Carr-Miller part of SR 92.

Rick Romea and I have been leading bird walks at Gordon Lewis' property on; the San Pedro River
since the first of the year. This rich habitat has produced at least one new species every week.
Today's highlight was a FOX SPARROW (Slate-colored).
Next Monday's walk will begin at 8:00 AM, but starting with the April 7 walk, the start time will be
7:00 AM.
The meeting place is on the north side of Highway 92 just west of the San Pedro River at a gate
numbered 10663. If coming from the west, the turn is just after a rusty Quonset hut on your left.
Since this is private property, the only opportunity to bird this area is to join one of the weekly
bird walks.
